250 gms sole fish
1 chopped onion
2 spoon of chopped green coriander
2 red chilli
2 pieces kaffir lime
1 piece Thai ginger
4-5 leaves of lemon grass
6 spoon of coconut milk
½ teaspoon sugar
1 lemon juice
Salt and white pepper according to taste
½ spoon of turmeric powder
Step 1: Mix the fish pieces with salt well and steam them.
Step 2: In order to make the curry, mix rest of the ingredients and grind them to make a paste
Step 3: Heat little oil in a pan, add the paste. Fry the paste for 15 minutes over lower flame.
Step 4: Arrange the fish pieces in serving bowl and pour the curry over it. Your steamed fish with nonya curry is ready to be served.
It is a Malaysian dish which is a distinctly Nyonya flavoured fish curry. This is an easy and excellent dinner recipe which you can serve your guests and reap huge praises.
